Custom builds, scoped around your idea

You know that thing you wish your business could do?

Maybe you want your website to help customers figure out what they need.

Maybe you're tired of manually doing something that feels like it should happen automatically.

Or maybe you have an idea you can see perfectly in your head — you just don't know how to build it.

That's where I come in.

Tell me what you want your customers, clients, or business to be able to do.

I'll help you figure out what needs to be built to make it happen.

See the Work

You don't need technical words or a finished plan. Start with what you wish were possible.

Custom projects start at $750. Final pricing is based on the scope of your build.

✦ Start with the outcome

Don't choose a service. Tell me what you want it to do.

You don't need to figure out whether you need a website, app, bot, automation, dashboard, portal, or some complicated combination of them.

That's part of what I help you figure out.

“I wish my customers could figure out what to buy.”

We could create an interactive quiz, AI bot, product finder, or personalized recommendation experience that guides people toward the right option.

“I wish people could do everything in one place.”

We could connect booking, payments, forms, resources, memberships, customer information, and other parts of the experience.

“I wish I didn't have to keep doing this manually.”

We could identify what you repeatedly check, send, organize, update, or answer and build a system that handles more of it for you.

“I have an idea for a tool people could use.”

It could become an app, calculator, generator, planner, tracker, assessment, dashboard, interactive resource, or something that doesn't fit into an existing category.

Honestly, don't know what you need yet? That's okay. Tell me what you wish would happen. We'll start there.

✦ Selected work

Wondering what “custom” actually means?

None of these started with “I need this exact piece of technology.” They started with a business problem, an idea, or something that needed to work better.

Website + Bot

Helping Website Visitors Figure Out What to Buy

The problem
Customers had products to choose from, but they needed help figuring out which option was right for them.
What I built
A website with a personalized bot built into the customer experience that guides visitors toward products based on what they're looking for.
Key features
Website + Personalized Bot + Product Guidance
The result
Instead of making customers figure everything out alone, the website can actually help them make a decision.

Booking + Membership App

A Mobile Booking Experience That Checks Where You Live First

The problem
A mobile spray tan business has a challenge a traditional salon doesn't: the customer has to be within the service radius.
What I built
A system that determines whether the customer is in the service area before booking, plus a membership app experience and an owner backend for information and notifications.
Key features
Website + Radius Check + Booking + Membership App + Owner Backend + Notifications
The result
The customer gets a simple experience while the more complicated pieces work behind the scenes.

An App That Creates Personalized Content and Handles the Business Side — Custom App
Custom App

An App That Creates Personalized Content and Handles the Business Side

The problem
Creating and using personalized content needed to be easy for every client — and the owner was manually checking who had paid and who should have access.
What I built
An app that generates client-specific content that's easy to copy, paste, and use, with payment tracking and client access built into the system.
Key features
Custom App + Personalized Content + Client Access + Payment Tracking
The result
Clients get an easy tool to use while the system handles work the business owner would otherwise have to keep checking.

Interactive Resource

A Landscaping Resource That Identifies the Problem Before the Owner Receives the Lead

The problem
This wasn't built to simply collect someone's contact information — the owner needed context before spending time on a lead.
What I built
An interactive resource that helps the potential customer identify their landscaping issue first, then sends the owner information about what that person is experiencing.
Key features
Interactive Resource + Problem Identification + Lead Qualification + Owner Notification
The result
The potential customer gets helpful direction while the owner receives a more informed lead — with context before the first conversation.

See the pattern?

One business needed to:

Help customers choose the right product.

Another needed to:

Check a service radius before someone booked.

Another wanted to:

Stop manually checking whether clients had paid.

Another needed:

More information before spending time qualifying a lead.

Those aren't four versions of the same template. They're four different business problems requiring four different solutions.

That's how I approach custom builds. We don't start with what I can sell you. We start with:

“What do you need this thing to do?”

Then we determine what needs to be built.

✦ The possibilities

What could we build?

Your project might be one thing, or it might combine several pieces into one connected experience. Here are some of the possibilities:

01

Websites and Sales Experiences

Custom websites and landing pages that can guide, recommend, collect information, book, sell, teach, calculate, or help someone make a decision.

02

AI Bots and Personalized Recommendations

Assistants, product finders, and recommendation experiences that answer questions, guide customers, qualify leads, or help people choose the right next step.

03

Apps and Interactive Tools

Calculators, planners, generators, trackers, estimators, assessments, routine builders, quote tools, learning experiences, and custom resources.

04

Client Portals and Dashboards

Connected spaces for appointments, resources, progress, forms, customer information, notifications, content, support, and backend management.

05

Booking, Payments, and Business Systems

Systems that connect availability, location requirements, intake information, scheduling, payments, confirmations, memberships, and customer access.

06

Automations and Connected Workflows

Workflows that connect forms, emails, payments, scheduling, customer information, notifications, and repetitive business tasks.

Something that doesn't have a name yet?

“I need the website to do this. Then I want it to check this. If they answer that, I want this to happen…”

Tell me. Your idea doesn't have to fit into a box before we can build it.

✦ Custom > cookie cutter

The complicated part is my favorite part.

If you've been thinking, “This might be too complicated,” I want to hear it.

I enjoy figuring out how the pieces need to work together:

Deanna, founder of The Quiet Rebuild, in a white blazer in natural light
  • What needs to happen first?
  • What information does the system need?
  • What should happen based on someone's answer?
  • What should the customer see?
  • What needs to happen automatically?
  • What do you need to see behind the scenes?

Most importantly, I think about how we can make something complicated feel simple to the person using it. Your customer doesn't need to understand what's happening behind the scenes. They should simply think:

“Wow. That was easy.”

Custom should still feel like your business.

Function matters. So does personality.

Your business shouldn't lose what makes it feel like you just because we're adding technology.

Your custom build can reflect your brand, voice, customer, and the way you want people to feel when they interact with it.

You don't need the technical words.

You can come to me saying:

  • “When somebody does this, I want this to happen.”
  • “I'm doing this manually and it's driving me crazy.”
  • “I wish customers could…”
  • “I have no idea if this is possible, but…”

That is enough for us to begin.

✦ Is this the right next step?

A custom build could be for you if…

This is likely a good fit

  • You already have a business, offer, service, product, or working idea.
  • You're repeatedly doing something manually that could work more efficiently.
  • You want customers to have a simpler or more personalized experience.
  • You have an idea for a useful tool but don't know how to build it.
  • Your current website or platform cannot do what you need.
  • You need multiple features to work together.
  • You're prepared to invest at least $750 in a custom solution.

This probably isn't the right fit if…

  • You only need a basic landing page with no custom functionality.
  • You're still trying to determine what your business or offer will be.
  • You want instructions so you can recreate the custom build yourself.
  • You expect a large custom system for template-level pricing.
  • You're not ready to invest in solving the problem yet.

Not sure whether your idea fits? Start the Project Builder. You do not need a finished technical plan.

✦ How it starts

Your idea starts with the Project Builder

You don't have to stare at an empty contact form trying to explain a complicated idea.

The interactive Project Builder will guide you through a few questions so I can understand your business, your idea, and what you want the finished experience to do.

Step 1

Tell It What You're Thinking

Share what you're trying to create, fix, simplify, or make possible.

Step 2

Explore the Possibilities

The Project Builder will help uncover possible features and ideas based on what you share.

Step 3

Send the Project to Me

Your answers come directly to me so I can understand the goal, functionality, and different pieces involved.

Step 4

I Review the Idea

I'll determine whether it's something I can help you build and what it may take to create it.

Step 5

We Scope the Project

If the project is a good fit, I'll contact you so we can confirm the scope, timeline, investment, and next step.

Ready when you are.

No technical plan required. Start with your idea.

What happens after you submit?

I'll personally review what you send. If it looks like a project I can help with, I'll contact you using the information provided to discuss the next step.

You are not committing to a project by completing the Project Builder. Pricing and work begin only after the project scope and next steps are agreed upon.

✦ Custom scope. Real pricing.

Custom projects start at $750.

A landing page and a custom system that checks a customer's location, manages booking, processes payments, gives members access, sends notifications, and provides an owner dashboard are not the same project.

That's why there isn't one standard checkout price.

Your final quote depends on:

  • What needs to be built
  • How many features are included
  • Whether different tools need to connect
  • Whether customer accounts or databases are required
  • The complexity of the user experience
  • What you need behind the scenes

Once I understand the project, I'll provide pricing based on the actual scope.

Starting investment: $750. Larger websites, apps, systems, and connected builds are quoted based on scope.

✦ Good questions

Frequently asked questions

What can you build?

I create custom websites, landing pages, bots, apps, quizzes, interactive tools, dashboards, client spaces, booking experiences, payment systems, automations, lead-qualification systems, and connected business workflows. A project can include one feature or several working together.

What if I don't know what I need?

That's okay. You do not need to choose the technology. Tell me what you want your customers or business to be able to do, and I'll help determine what type of build could make that possible.

How much does a custom project cost?

Custom projects start at $750. Final pricing depends on the features, functionality, integrations, and overall scope of the build. You'll receive project-specific pricing after I review your idea.

Does completing the Project Builder commit me to purchasing?

No. The Project Builder helps me understand your idea. No project begins and no payment is required until the scope, investment, and next steps have been discussed and agreed upon.

What happens after I complete the Project Builder?

I'll personally review your submission. If the project appears to be something I can help with, I'll contact you to discuss the possible scope, timeline, investment, and next step.

Can you connect tools I already use?

Possibly. This depends on the platforms, available integrations, and what you need them to do. Include the tools you currently use when completing the Project Builder.

Will the finished project match my brand?

Yes. The design and experience will be developed around your business, audience, voice, and visual direction. Custom functionality should still feel like your brand.

How long will my project take?

The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the project. A timeline will be included when the scope and quote are provided.

Stop trying to figure out what it's called.

Tell me what you wish it could do.

Maybe you already have the whole idea mapped out.

Maybe you have one frustrating problem you want to fix.

Maybe you keep thinking, “There has to be an easier way to do this.”

Or maybe you're sitting on an idea because you don't know whether it's possible.

Bring me that. The complicated part is my favorite part. Let's see what we could build.
